PROJECT: SCALE-UP OF MICROBIOLOGICAL BIOSTIMULANT AGENTS FOR SOIL MICROBIOME RECOVERY.
Implemented within the Action: SME INNOVATION. PRODUCT INNOVATION (INNOVAProD-CV) 2020.
CURRENT STATE:
In the PIDI-CV 2018 SME R&D Project, PACKAGE MICROBIOLOGY, beneficial fungi from the soil microbiota were isolated, and their synergy and influence on improving crop productivity were determined by testing their characteristics on tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum). This led to the design of a new product.
liquid.
Subsequently, it was discovered that the average lifespan of the microorganisms obtained in liquid medium is shorter than desired, making scale-up and subsequent commercialization difficult. Therefore, this new project has been proposed:
SCALE-UP OF MICROBIOLOGICAL BIOSTIMULANT AGENTS FOR SOIL MICROBIOME RECOVERY.
PROJECT OBJECTIVES:
Implementation of a solid-state fermentation process for microorganism production, specifically a final product in solid phase with the microorganisms isolated in the PACKAGE MICROBIOLOGY Project, extending the average shelf life, which facilitates its marketing and use by the end user, the farmer.
Obtaining a new solid product based on one or more microorganisms obtained in the SME R&D Project PIDI-CV 2018, PACKAGE MICROBIOLOGY.
