Physicochemical interactions in the soil of the crop

When the supplied mineral elements interact with the carbonates in the irrigation water, mineral elements are formed that become primary (unassimilable) and create compaction with clumping of the soil and the lower part of the crop sand.

In the following images taken on September 27th in the San Isidro de Níjar area (Almería), you can see how quarry sand, due to its chemical composition and reaction with hard water, forms a solid brown layer at the bottom. This layer hinders the proper development of the plant's root system, creating a rhizosphere with a lack of oxygen and insufficient renewal of root hairs. It accumulates toxic salts and retains water, generating an unfavorable environment for the roots.

All of this causes the plant to decline, with little energy to carry out physiological processes and production. The plant was hardened and stunted.

During the field visit, our Technical Director recommended weekly applications of COUPÉ REGENERATION Plus at 60 L./ha. and application during 6 weeks in a row for:

• Activate the cation exchange that was blocked so that the plant can nourish and feed itself.,
• Increase oxygenation, soil drainage,
• To cause the thickening of the plant's root, improving its potential for absorbing water and nutrients from the soil,
• Displace toxic salts from the upper horizon of the crop soil.

Just 3 weeks later Upon returning to the greenhouse, we found a much more optimistic outlook; the plants had recovered the energy, rhythm, and vigor necessary to produce a good harvest.
