Vicente Mi\u00f1ana, together with his children, established the workers' cooperative more than 20 years ago. ACTIVIAL<\/strong>. In the last year, he has completely transformed his way of working and EDYPRO<\/strong> has had a lot to do with it.<\/span><\/p>\n

What do they do at ACTIVIAL?<\/b><\/p>\n

Since 1998 we have been advising farms, carrying out treatments, installing irrigation systems, supplying products to points of sale and cooperatives, \u2026 A company of its time.<\/span><\/p>\n

But in recent years this type of work no longer motivated us; we weren't excited about what we were doing. The market had become a commercially aggressive sector, where margins were very slim and there was a lot of disloyalty.<\/span><\/p>\n

A market that doesn't value work and everything depends on offering the best price.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Was this what prompted them to change the focus of their activity?<\/b><\/p>\n

Yes, we have restructured to focus solely on technical advice and commercial distribution of the products we recommend, which are EDYPRO<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

We wanted to distance ourselves from this market with such an unproductive marketing approach. It's been a drastic change because we've had to close retail outlets and focus on finding end customers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How do they work now?<\/b><\/p>\n

We are looking for clients on farms who need advice. People who value our work and our visits, our advice, and who ultimately trust our work and choose our products because we deliver results.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are looking for clients of a minimum size, although we continue to serve smaller clients who want to work with us because they know our references.<\/span><\/p>\n

In what geographical area and for what types of crops do they operate?\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Our usual work area was Marina Alta, some of northern Marina Baja, and some of Vinalop\u00f3. We have been expanding to Vall d'Albaida, Fontanars, and some of the Ribera region, especially the royalty crop areas where the quality and effectiveness of treatments are highly valued.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As for crops, we work with citrus, avocado, persimmon, loquat, and some vineyards. In the last year, we've also acquired farms that grow vegetables. We've also started working with fruit trees that we didn't work with before, such as cherry and apricot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We have intensified our vineyard area. This type of cultivation is always two steps ahead of other crops and is at the forefront of organic farming. With EDYPRO<\/strong> We have a very important tool for working in this field.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How has it been to implement this change? What is your assessment of this first year?<\/b><\/p>\n

It's been a very tough year because we've had to change a lot of things, both in how we work and in the mindset of the people who used our services. But sometimes you have to make changes to avoid failing commercially. We've done it, and it's starting to pay off.<\/span><\/p>\n

Much of the business relies on the results offered by EDYPRO products. Which ones are the most successful?<\/b><\/p>\n

Personally, one of the products that surprised me the most and confirmed the wisdom of the change was ENDOPHOSPHITE<\/strong><\/a>. We visited a farm in Tango that was in terrible condition, and only twelve days after the application it was already starting to improve.<\/span><\/p>\n

But overall they are all spectacular and offer excellent results: MAXIMUM QUALITY<\/strong><\/a>, FECUNDATOR<\/strong><\/a>, AMINOPLUS<\/strong><\/a>, HYDROCAL<\/strong><\/a>, ALGATRON<\/strong><\/a>\u2026 We have practically already worked on the entire catalog because we have opted for EDYPRO<\/strong> to 100%.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also MELASTOP<\/strong> <\/a>It's exceptional. Once people try it, they realize it's a great product.<\/span><\/p>\n

And what is their customers' perception?<\/b><\/p>\n

Customer feedback has been very positive. The citrus fruits we've produced this year have been excellent, the best Tango in the area.<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the low winter temperatures, leeks have yielded spectacular results in terms of size and weight. Some harvests have achieved 301 TP3T more weight than the previous season.<\/span><\/p>\n

We also obtained very good results in a project we carried out in a vineyard for organic winemaking. We performed bunch elongation and fruit set, among other things, and it went very well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If they let you work and are open to advice, the results speak for themselves. Now, when a customer comes in, they don't ask about the price; they come because they want quality, organic products. And if anyone doubts that they'll work, I tell them that if they don't deliver in the field, they don't have to pay me.
