Among the prominent figures who attended this celebration were Roger Llanes, Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Valencian Community; Pedro Pern\u00edas Peco, Territorial Director of the Ministry of Innovation, Universities, Science and Digital Society in Valencia; J\u00falia Company Sanus, Director of IVACE, and the mayors of Foios and Meliana, Sergi Ruiz and Josep Antoni Riera, respectively.<\/p>\n

The event, which combined a festive atmosphere with a more technical and educational aspect, featured the participation of European researcher Massimo Biloni, founder of IRES srl and Acquaverderiso and president of Strada del Riso Vercellese di Qualit\u00e0; Juan Pablo Torregrosa, representing CEEI Valencia; and \u00c1ngela P\u00e9rez, president of BIOVAL, the biotechnology cluster of the Valencian Community that brings together companies dedicated to biotechnology in the health, environmental, and agri-food sectors.<\/p>\n

Vicente Puchol, manager and technical director of the firm, thanked all those present for their attendance, \u201ccollaborators, clients and team of EDYPRO<\/strong>\u201dEach of us, in our role and with our work, makes it possible for biotechnology research to increase the quality and production of crops to become a reality that is passed on to farmers, who then offer the end consumer premium quality agricultural products,\u201c he emphasized.<\/p>\n

As the motto chosen by EDYPRO<\/strong> For the commemoration of this 25th anniversary: innovation for the agriculture of the future; Puchol explained how research and biotechnology make it possible to achieve residue-free, disease-free crops, "improving the profitability of farms and providing added value for human food.".<\/p>\n

25 years of solid track record<\/strong>
\nVicente Puchol began researching, developing and producing his biotechnological solutions in an old family facility and in 1996 he founded EDYPRO<\/strong> Biotechnology. The first product developed and launched on the market was ORGANOVITAL PLUS<\/strong><\/a>, which has undergone several reformulations over the years in line with the company's commitment to continuous improvement.<\/p>\n

The 2000s marked the consolidation of EDYPRO<\/strong> and recognition for all the research and innovation work carried out. It was a golden age in which it received numerous awards such as: Best Business Initiative, CEEI, in 2000; 1st Prize for Operational Projects, Caixa Popular, in 2001, and the BANCAIXA Award for Young Entrepreneurs in 2002.<\/p>\n

Also during that period, specifically in November 2003, a new production plant was inaugurated with a production capacity of 200 tons per year. Over the years, this plant has been modernized and its production capacity has been increased, tripling the initial manufacturing volume.<\/p>\n

In 2004, it received a Nova Award nomination in the "Creation of an Innovative Company" category, highlighting its research and development of solutions that replaced hormonal substances for fruit set. And it ended the decade in 2009 with the PACTEM NORD Environmental Respect and Promotion Award for Co-responsibility.<\/p>\n

Around the same time, the company also entered the Almer\u00eda market, where greenhouse horticulture predominates. This is one of the most demanding markets in terms of innovation, field results, product quality, and technical service.<\/p>\n

The result of more than 10 years of research, EDYPRO<\/strong> They developed the first product that targeted some of the plant's productive genes, promoting their expression. This project was a finalist for the InnovaQ award in 2011. Currently, EDYPRO<\/strong> It is a market leader with products of recognized high efficacy and differentiated value, both for the farmer and the end consumer of the fruit.
