The CEO and technical director of EDYPRO<\/strong>, Vicente Puchol gave a lecture last Thursday, October 20th, entitled \u201cThe History of the Huerta and the Personality of its People.\u201d The event, organized by ARCHIVAL, explained the historical importance of this rich natural area and its influence on the economic boom of the second half of the 20th century.<\/p>\n

Vicente Puchol convincingly demonstrated how the children of farmers born in this region have developed remarkable emotional intelligence, and how this has led to the creation of large companies that continue to thrive and generate thousands of jobs and wealth. He mentioned the children of successful farmers: Teresa del Puig, Enrique Tamarit from Foios, Federico F\u00e9lix from Foios, Vicente Fontestad from Puebla de Farnals, the Lladr\u00f3 brothers from Almassera, and Juan and Fernando Roig from Poble Nou.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnother very noteworthy case is the career of the great bullfighter Vicente Ruiz \u201cEL SORO\u201d, son of a farmer who has reached the highest peak in the world of bullfighting.\u201d.<\/p>\n

The \u201cMaestro\u201d participated and \u201cgave an example of the values he learned on the field: humility, hard and persevering work, respect, and representing the l'Horta region, his town of Foios, and Valencia. These qualities, along with his gratitude for life, have opened doors for him to be among the greatest.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Vicente Ruiz \u201cEL SORO\u201d: \u201cI invite the younger generation to follow this scale of values and build a future full of new opportunities with great economic potential.\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201c"Emotional intelligence has been able to help all these personalities overcome very difficult moments and emerge victorious.".<\/p>\n

With his words he moved the attendees by conveying his experiences and "his desire to make people happy from the bullring arena.".<\/p>\n

The event highlighted \u201cthe feeling of passion for agriculture, betting on Biotechnology innovation to increase the quality and production of crops, achieving residue-free crops.\u201d.<\/p>\n

Vicente Puchol conveyed that \u201cthere is indeed a future for the Valencian market gardens and the Valencian Community, but to achieve this, certain outdated marketing systems (such as wholesale markets) must be changed, and new models must be adopted that generate high economic turnover, creating wealth and a good future for young people with agricultural training to invest in making agriculture a great business of the future.\u201d.<\/p>\n
