Its members include leading figures in biotechnology research whose scientific advances were confirmed amidst the uncertainty of COVID-19, such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">IMAGE (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.imegen.es\">www.imegen.es<\/a>) (Institute of Genomic Medicine) which developed a test for detecting Sars-Cov-2 by transcribing the genes typical of it, making its capabilities available to individuals, health centers and companies.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">BIOINICIA (<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bioinicia.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.bioinicia.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) which recently developed, in collaboration with CSIC, and launched on the market a mask with a nanofiber filter that is approved and certified by the corresponding bodies.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The third Night of BIO will be held on October 22nd, an event to promote the Valencian Community as a leader in the areas of biotechnology, biomedicine and bioeconomy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the first time, and due to the circumstances caused by the global health crisis, this event will be virtual. This new format, despite its obvious limitations, presents a great opportunity for all those interested in attending the Gala, as it is a very exclusive event that, in its in-person format, had limited capacity and was only accessible to a very specific group. This online edition allows for a greater number of participants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Silvia Leal&#039;s motivational conference, entitled &quot;Keys to Understanding the Future and Building the Post-COVID Present,&quot; will kick off an evening in which BIOVAL aims to inspire its members and collaborators with the excitement and enthusiasm for the great future that lies ahead for the BIO sector, as well as the commitment and pride of belonging to such a promising and high-potential industry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, the Night of BIO hosts the presentation of the BIOVAL Awards, which seek to recognize, promote and enhance the work developed in the BIO sector of the Valencian Community for the benefit of the advancement in research, technology and bioeconomy, recognizing those projects that will have a great return in the concept of improvement for Spanish society.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EDYPRO has always been closely linked to the Association of companies and entities in the BIO sector, which encompasses biotechnology, biomedicine, and bioeconomy and constitutes the Valencian Community bioregion (BIOVAL).
