[:is]As part of our biotechnological solutions plan, we also emphasize proper crop management to achieve outstanding results. Pruning is a fundamental aspect, as it influences the tree's productivity and, therefore, the success of the crop.
That is why from EDYPRO We wanted to offer practical workshops on carob tree pruning. This training was divided into two parts: formative pruning and pruning of mature carob trees.
During the first part of this practical session, our CEO and technical director, Vicente Puchol, explained the ideal structure for the carob tree, geared towards a new agricultural model. The correct tree configuration will result in a significant increase in production, a substantial reduction in annual pruning costs, and will prevent alternate bearing.
Participants were able to learn and analyze on-site how to interpret and carry out the correct tree training through practice on different specimens that were discussed.
Regarding pruning mature carob trees, which have not been pruned for years, Puchol emphasized that it is a different technique than that used in shaping. “What is, is what it is; we have to interpret the tree to identify what we should leave and what we should remove to get to where we want it to be,” he explained.
Our technical director warned that caution is necessary with these types of trees, given the size of the branches. It is preferable to prune from top to bottom to avoid danger. Pruning should also be avoided on windy days.
To illustrate this technique, attendees witnessed the pruning of a large, monumental carob tree. After the intervention, the tree was well-defined and, after the summer, will have vigorous new growth.
[:it]Nell'ambito of our piano d'azione basato su soluzioni biotecnologiche, we also consider the correct management of the culture to ottenere risultati spettacolari. La potatura è un aspect fundamentale perché influence la produttività dell'albero e, quindi, il successo della coltura.
That's why EDYPRO He has voluto offered dei workshop praticici sulla potatura del carrubo. La formazione è stata suddivisa in due parti: la potatura di formazione e la potatura del carrubo adult.
During the first part of this practical lesson, our CEO and technical director, Vicente Puchol, has created the ideal structure of the carrubo, orientated towards a new agricultural model. The correct configuration of the water will lead to a significant increase in production, a significant reduction in the annual cost of food and will prevent the alternating growth of the water.
The participants have not been able to study and analyze the field as they will interpret and explain the correct formation of the albero through practice and its diverse examples.
Because it governs the potatura dei carrubi adulti that are not stati potati per anni, Puchol has outlined that it does deal with a different technique that is used for training. “Quello che c'è è quello che c'è, we dobbiamo interprete l'albero to identify the ciò that dovremmo lasciare and ciò that dovremmo deletere per arrivare dove vogliamo”, has spiegato.
Our technical director has advised that in this type of albero it is wise to consider the dimensions of the rami. It is preferable to segment from high to low to avoid pericoli. Potatura should be avoided even during windy days.
To illustrate this technique, the participants have not assisted in the formation of a large monumental car. Dopo l'intervento, l'albero era ben definito e, dopo l'estate, avrà un forte germogliamento.

As for pruning adult carob trees that have not been pruned for years, Puchol pointed out that this is a different technique to the one used in training. “What is there is what is there, we have to interpret the tree to identify what we should leave and what we should eliminate to get to where we want to take it,” he explained.
