PROBLEM
Citrus varieties prone to overproduction (such as Pri-23, Esbal, Tango, and Nadorcott) require fruit thinning to remove fruit from the tree that will not reach a good size and will also create competition for other fruit. Manual thinning is very costly and is carried out at the moment when the final fruit size is already determined at the cellular level.
SOLUTION
Given this need, in EDYPRO a has been developed Hormone-free thinning and fattening treatment which simultaneously activates fruit thickening. It is based on a natural thinning process that removes the fruit from the second and third flowering, leaving the fruit from the first flowering on the tree. These fruits, through the action of the components of this treatment, will increase in size and juice content until they reach optimal commercial sizes and outstanding organoleptic characteristics.
This treatment consists of foliar applications and an application of ORGANOVITAL PLUS via the root system to achieve a rapid response from the tree.
Here you can download the Hormone-free thinning and fattening treatment.
This is the optimal time for the first application.
