Valencia, October 22, 2020. BIOVAL, the Valencian Community's BIO cluster representing companies, organizations, entities and institutions linked to biotechnology, biomedicine and bioeconomy, has delivered the BIOVAL Awards 2020 to the best biotech firms of the year, which have been awarded to Rithmi, as the best Biotech Start-up, Forest Chemical Group, in the Bio Industrial category, Neval Farmalent Group, as the best BIO initiative in Agri-food, and Quibim, as the best BIO company in the Health category.

The awards were presented during the celebration of the ‘'BIO Night', The virtual event, which brought together more than 300 people online, is now in its third edition and has become the leading annual forum for the BIO sector. The event also featured a conference by Silvia Leal, an expert in innovation and digital transformation, based on the 'Keys to understanding the Future and building the Post-COVID Present' and the presence of representatives from the Gold sponsors of the BIO Night and the BIOVAL 2020 awards, Banco Santander and Borealis by Grupo Ifedes, Juan Adsuara y David Mor, respectively, the Silver sponsors: Asacpharma, Bioinicia, Edypro and IdaiNature, as well as authorities such as the Minister of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor, Rafael Climent; the regional secretary for Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Consumption, Rebeca Torró; the Director General of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Roger Llanes, and the president of the CEV, Salvador Navarro.
