Last Tuesday, May 13th, our CEO, Vicente Puchol, participated in a meeting between rice producers from the Ribatejo region of Portugal and high-ranking political officials. At this event, he shared his views with the Prime Minister of Portugal, Luís Montenegro, at a crucial moment for the future of the agricultural sector. The conversation focused on the importance of legal measures that support the agricultural sector, and specifically the rice sector, to ensure the profitability and sustainability of farming businesses.
He also shared his vision on the sustainability of the rice production sector with the Portuguese Minister of Agriculture.
