On August 27th, the Rice Field Day organized by IRTA, and led by Maria del Mar Catalá and her team, was held, highlighting the great professionalism and invaluable work.
EDYPRO biotechnology, as specialists in rice cultivation, has presented the results of its demonstration displays with the products ROOT RICE, EDYFRUIT RICE y COUPE REGENERATION Plus.
Those attending the event were able to exchange opinions, resolve doubts, and observe the results obtained firsthand.
With the results presented from the applications of ROOT RICE, It has been shown that its use is important for uniformizing plant germination, reducing seed and plant losses due to adverse climatic factors (strong winds, strong temperature contrasts, etc.) while achieving rapid and extensive development of the rice plant's root system, with a greater number of absorbent hairs and facilitating the assimilation of the fertilizer set.
ROOT RICE It shortens the phenological stages from sowing to the application of the first herbicide, thus allowing action on weeds in more sensitive stages, and the herbicides act more successfully.
On the other hand, it has also been observed that ROOT RICE It reduces damage from waterfowl because, starting 15 days after sowing, the rice plants begin to cover the water, thus reducing the period of risk of attacks. At the same time, it has been observed that chironomid attacks appear at the end of May and in June; if sowing is done early (late April, early May) with ROOT RICE, When the period of risk for chironomids arrives, the plant is already beginning to tiller and is no longer susceptible to this pest.
The farmers express their full and repeated confidence in EDYFRUIT RICE. During the session, it was explained how the product stimulates productive factors, rapidly restoring the root system damaged by herbicide application. Thanks to this, tillering is enhanced and standardized, resulting in ears of corn on the plant's offshoots that are the same size and quality as those on the main stem.
EDYFRUIT RICE It lengthens vegetative activity during the milky phase and increases the percentage of whole plants, reducing gypsum and, in high productive potential lands, increases the average production.
Finally, we have presented the spectacular results of the application of COUPE REGENERATION Plus.
COUPE REGENERATION Plus, applied in pre-sowing, it significantly increases cation exchange, achieving optimal assimilation of soil nutrients and those supplied through fertilizers.
We have also obtained very important results in other cultivars both in Spain and in other rice-producing areas of Europe, applying Post-harvest to the stubble. COUPE REGENERATION Plus Apply 60 L/ha to facilitate the decomposition of plant remains during the winter period. In this case, the product activates the decomposition of the straw and achieves a high C/N balance in the soil, which determines the productive potential of the rice crop.

- It allows for a reduction in the use of conventional fertilizers, thanks to the fixation of elements in the Clay-Humic complex.
- It reactivates the soil, allowing for active, healthy cultivation soils with a high capacity for vegetative development.
