SA.PI.SE. Once again, it has demonstrated its great power to attract Italian and European rice growers.

On September 2nd in Sali Vercellese (Vercelli, Italy) we presented the ROOT RICE and other biotechnological products for rice production in the SA.PI.SE. OPEN DAY., The traditional field day organized by one of Italy's largest rice seed producers. The aim of the event is to introduce rice farmers to innovative rice cultivation techniques. This year, specialists from the rice sector in all rice-producing regions of Europe, the USA, and Brazil participated.

This year we have presented the field experiences, whose implementation and follow-up have ensured the Technical Director of EDYPRO Vicente Puchol in collaboration with lThe Technical Managers of SA.PI.SE.: Diego Greppi, Simone Zanazzo, Claudio Pellegrin. We have also demonstrated the evolution of the seeds treated with ROOT RICE versus control and the plants at 25-30 days of development.

Thanks to very careful monitoring of the plantings carried out with seed treated with ROOT RICE both the representatives of SA.PI.SE. as the farmers in whose fields this monitoring has been carried out have had the opportunity to notice all the advantages that the product brings to the rice plant:

  • Uniformity in germination and subsequent plant development;
  • Development of a large and healthy root system, with a significant number of absorbent hairs that facilitate the assimilation of nutrients and rooting in sandy soils with difficulties in the establishment of plants;
  • A stable and continuous level of nutrition that provides the plant with an intense green color and a certain resistance to fungal attacks.

In the photo you can see that the plants treated with ROOT RICE They have a more intense green color and are less affected by Helminthosporium.
