PROBLEM
Currently in the area of The Plana of Castellón There is a marked drop of leaves in citrus trees. Most of these are leaves that have not been affected by spider mites and usually fall to the ground with their petioles attached.
This situation is caused by the lack of cation exchange in the soil of the drip bulb.
This problem is caused by the hardness of the water in the riverbeds of La Plana Alta. This type of water greatly hinders microbial activity in the drip zone, and consequently, a significant portion of the mineral salts supplied by fertilizers and irrigation water are absorbed into their primary mineral form.
Now at the beginning of vegetative activity the tree activates its root system and this is in a hostile environment and consequently suffers burns, loss of secondary roots and absorbent hairs which result in this defoliation.

SOLUTION
From EDYPRO We recommend applying at the beginning of the growing cycle, and if possible before starting fertigation. COUPÉ REGENERATION Plus 60 to 80 L/ha in a single application + SPECIAL ROOTING AGENT 10 L./ha.
COUPÉ REGENERATION Plus:
- It reactivates the body's own microbial fauna (prebiotic effect) of the cultivated soil and allows for active, healthy cultivated soils with a high capacity for vegetative development.
- COUPÉ REGENERATION Plus It acts directly, generating a large cation exchange This allows the plant to assimilate the salts from the nutrients accumulated in the soil. At the same time, it makes the fertilizers we apply available to the plant in an assimilable form.
- It increases the crop's defenses. against fungal attacks by oxygenating the soil with a higher yield of fertilizers.
- It effectively displaces toxic salts of the clay-humus complex and improves the physical structure of the soil, increasing its oxygenation and drainage.
ROOTING AGENT SPECIAL It acts as a powerful root growth activator, reducing the time required for root development and facilitating plant rooting. It is designed to stimulate the development of secondary roots and root hairs during critical periods, with a high capacity for action under adverse weather conditions.
RESULT
A few weeks after application, the results are very noticeable, with a marked change in the trees' behavior that lasts throughout the spring. This results in a new root system in active, healthy soil with a high nutrient capacity for the trees. It also facilitates the complete utilization of the fertilizers used. Root system renewal is ideal for both young trees and mature trees where the root system has aged due to age.
