EDYPRO offers the keys to curbing concerns about the fertilizer crisis

The agricultural sector is going through a delicate period, as the fertilizer market suffers a significant product shortage. Just as industries are facing production stoppages due to a lack of microchips, the agricultural sector is on alert due to reduced supply and a considerable price increase.

The agricultural sector is going through a critical period, as the fertilizer market suffers a significant product shortage. Just as industries are facing production stoppages due to a lack of microchips, the agricultural sector is on alert due to reduced supply and a considerable rise in prices for products as essential for crop growth as fertilizers.

From EDYPRO, Given this worrying situation for the agricultural sector, we want to contribute in the best way possible, offering key strategies to continue production despite the reduced fertilizer supply. For this reason, yesterday we presented a live talk on biotechnological solutions to maintain production levels and productivity with lower fertilizer inputs.

Our technical director, Vicente Puchol, presented a key biotechnological solution for better, smarter farming with less fertilizer while maintaining profitability. This biotechnology allows for control over both production quality and harvest volume.

Our biotechnology solution COUPÉ REGENERATION Plus It offers great results in these cases of reduced fertilizer use, something that since EDYPRO This was demonstrated thanks to the experiences within the European project TOMRES (co-financed by the EC). It was shown how, by reducing water and fertilizer inputs by 331%, with the application of biotechnological products COUPÉ REGENERATION Plus y ROOT PROCUJI, It is possible to maintain production and improve the commercial quality of the fruit, while helping to preserve the environment and reduce nitrate pollution in aquifers.

COUPÉ REGENERATION Plus It contributes to the transformation of minerals supplied with fertilizers into an assimilable form. Our biotechnological solution seeks microbiological balance for optimal soil fertility. A plant that is better nourished is better hydrated, has a lower risk of stress, and a reduced risk of pests. Thanks to the TOMRES project, it has been demonstrated that, in situations of reduced fertilizer application, the application of COUPÉ REGENERATION Plus On a regular basis, the peak assimilation point of macroelements can be maintained.

The app we recommend from EDYPRO This involves an initial application at the rooting stage or beginning of vegetative activity of 60 to 80 L/ha, and subsequent applications at the same rate when the plant is dormant or during fruit set and development. Additionally, an application every 20 days is recommended to ensure consistent crop development. As mentioned earlier, applying ROOT PROCUJI, one of the leading products of EDYPRO, It affects the curdling process, reducing the negative effects of nutritional stress. ROOT PROCUJI It activates genes related to the formation and configuration of flowers and their fertilization and, as a result, offers very satisfactory results for the farmer.

In short, our manager, Vicente Puchol, encouraged farmers to continue striving and cultivating, and to work with biotechnology to maintain a very high quality standard in their crops. He also suggested achieving a reduction in the cost per kilo harvested by using COUPÉ REGENERATION Plus y ROOT PROCUJI, based on the results obtained in the TOMRES project.
