The persimmon is a crop where the most significant fruit development period occurs in August. The fruit grows sequentially and independently of the number of fruits on the tree. In other words, a tree with a light fruit load can still produce fruit of insufficient size. This is because the plant, instead of storing reserves in the fruit, allocates these reserves to other processes.
Persimmon cultivation is highly profitable if large sizes and tight fruits of good consistency are obtained that achieve a long post-harvest life.
SOLUTION
Our customers' persimmons are starting to grow larger, and it's time to help them achieve the right size.
