In many intensive crops, this phase occurs under unfavorable conditions, for example, with short days and low temperatures (such as the transplanting of spring-summer crops). Optimal rooting solution with low temperatures and few hours of light

The most delicate stage of a crop is its germination or transplanting, as the case may be. In many intensive crops, this phase occurs under unfavorable conditions, for example, with short days and low temperatures (such as the transplanting of spring-summer crops).

From EDYPRO, And with the aim of offering effective and practical solutions to farmers, we have developed SPECIAL ROOTING AGENT which is well received by technicians and farmers.

We have recently conducted a study on the outcome of SPECIAL ROOTING AGENT at the beginning of pumpkin cultivation to visualize and quantify its impact on the formation of secondary roots and absorbent hairs.

To do this, we germinated some pumpkin seeds in conditions similar to those of a seedbed.

In total, 12 pots were arranged with one plant in each pot, which were divided into two groups (with and without product application) and were subjected to treatment in two specific phenological stages: unfolding of the second cotyledon and formation of the first two true leaves.

For the application of the treatments, the same conditions that the farmer faces in the field were reproduced, a similar humidity was maintained in all the plots, whether they were treated with product or not, and the irrigation volumes were adapted.

The results of this study conclude that SPECIAL ROOTING AGENT 10L/HA It generates a significant increase in root development in pumpkin plants in their early stages, which can be seen in the following images.

As we can see in this graph, the root mass area is almost double in the plants treated with SPECIAL ROOTING AGENT in front of an untreated witness.

Therefore, this solution is emerging as an optimal tool to achieve perfect rooting in climatic conditions with low temperatures and days with few hours of solar radiation.
