PROBLEM
Late citrus varieties, due to their physiology, have more time to complete the thickening process, but this process is completed with lower temperatures and shorter days in autumn and winter.
Therefore, in some varieties, such as Nadorcott, Orri, and Tango, some orchards are reaching the beginning of winter with fruit size well below the optimum. Furthermore, this autumn we are seeing many orchards with fruit already breaking color, which means that the fruit is finishing the swelling stage and beginning the ripening process, first externally and then internally.

SOLUTION
From EDYPRO We recommend the biotechnological solution that is designed to promote physiological processes in trees related to thickening.
-First of all, root canal treatments with:
- 1st application COUPÉ REGENERATION Plus 100 L./ha.
- 2nd application FER POTASSIUM 100 L./ha.
- 3rd application COUPÉ REGENERATION Plus 80 L./ha.
- 4th application FER POTASSIUM 80 L./ha.
-In second place, foliar treatments to enhance fruit thickening:
- ENDOPHOSTEC 4 L. x 1000 L.
- HYDROCAL 3 L. x 1000 L.
- NITROPLUS 3.5 L. x 1000 L.
- MAXIMUM QUALITY 3 L. x 1000 L.
- MELASTOP 1.5 L. x 1000 L.
RESULT
The following images taken on January 29th show the state of the Orri fruit after the treatments carried out during the month of January.
